Who the Yellow Room is for
The Yellow Room is on the main floor, and that is the whole point of it. No stairs between the bed and the coffee.
If someone in your group would rather not negotiate a staircase twice a night, this is the room to give them. The bathroom has a zero-entry shower and accessible features — no lip to step over, no balancing act at six in the morning.
There is a door straight out to the front porch and a seating area, which matters more than we expected when we built it. Somebody in every group is awake at 5:30 with a cup of coffee. This is where they go so the rest of the house can keep sleeping.
King bed, 75″ Roku TV, walk-in closet, two swivel chairs, and a Pack ’n Play in the closet if you are travelling with a baby.
Like every bedroom here except the flex room, the Yellow Room has its own private bathroom. Nobody in it shares with anyone.
