Every big group has someone who needs a door that closes.

The Office Flex Space is a real room on the main floor — a desk, a 75" TV, comfortable seating and a queen sofa sleeper, with a half bath across the hall. During the day it is where somebody takes the call they could not move. At night it is a bed for two.

Who ends up in here

A young couple who would rather have privacy than proximity. Older teenagers who have reached the age where sharing a room with the little cousins is no longer the fun part. And on any given afternoon, whoever wants twenty quiet minutes away from the happy chaos — in a house of thirty-five, that is usually somebody.

The window looks out over the pool and the mountains behind it, so you can keep an eye on the slide without being in the water.

It is the eighth sleeping room, and the reason the house sleeps thirty-five instead of thirty-three.
