Booking & planning

• Q. How many guests can Color House sleep?
• A. Color House sleeps 35 across 8 sleeping rooms: six king suites (several with bunks or trundles for kids), the famous 10-bed bunk room, and a flex office/bedroom with a queen pull-out. Two extra mattresses add flexibility.
• Q. Where will everyone sleep? Can I see the floor plan?
• A. Here’s the room-by-room bed map — Yellow Room: king; Green Room: king + full-over-full bunk + trundle (sleeps 7); Olive Room: king; Orange Room: king + twin-over-twin bunk + trundle (sleeps 5); Blue Room: king; Loft: king + queen pull-out + 3 singles (sleeps 7); Bunk Room: 4 twin bunks + 2 trundles (sleeps 10); Flex Space: queen pull-out. Arrival & departure

• Q. What are check-in and check-out times?
• A. Check-in is 4 PM and check-out is 11 AM. If you’d like early check-in or late check-out, we can offer the night before or after your stay at 50% off the normal nightly rate if it’s available 7–14 days before your stay.
• Q. When do we receive the address and door code?
• A. For security, the full address and your personal smart-lock code are sent three days before arrival. Booked guests who need the address sooner for trip planning can message us anytime.
• Q. Where does everyone park?
• A. Four to six cars fit in the garage and driveway, plus as many as you can fit on the street — and there’s a dedicated overflow lot in the community for trailers, boats, and toys.

Pool, hot tub & backyard

• Q. Is the pool heated?
• A. Pool heating is optional at $125/day (recommended October–March). Give us at least 24 hours notice and it will be 85°F when you arrive.
• Q. Is the hot tub extra?
• A. No — the hot tub is always available, heated to 103°F, and always included.
• Q. How deep is the pool?
• A. 8 feet at the deep end, sloping from about 3 feet, with a shallow shelf for little swimmers.
• Q. Do the slide and waterfall run all year?
• A. They’re winterized mid-November through February to protect the pipes; the pool and hot tub stay open year-round.

Families & groups

• Q. What do you have for babies and little kids?
• A. Two pack ’n plays (sheets included), a high chair, step stools, kid dishes, two child life vests, and a shallow pool shelf.
• Q. Is there a gym?
• A. Yes — guests have access to the community clubhouse fitness center, plus its pools, splash pad, and pickleball courts (paddles provided).

Good to know

• Q. Can we ship packages to the house before we arrive?
• A. There’s no mailbox at the property and we can’t securely receive pre-arrival packages. During your stay, deliveries arrive at the door; the Hurricane post office is minutes away.
• Q. Are pets allowed?
• A. No pets are allowed at Color House, including emotional support animals.
• Q. How far is Zion? Sand Hollow?
• A. Sand Hollow State Park is 5 minutes away. Zion’s entrance gate is 29 miles — 30–45 minutes depending on traffic. St. George Regional Airport is about 30 minutes.
