Color House is a vacation rental in Hurricane, Utah, hosted by Cortney and Lana (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what information colorhousevacations.com collects, why, and what we do with it. Questions? Email host@colorhousevacations.com or text 801-960-2394.
What we collect
- When you ask for a quote or contact us: your name, email, the dates you have in mind, your group size, the kind of trip, and anything else you type into the form or send us by text or email.
- When you sign up for the Group Getaway Playbook: your email address (and name, if you give it).
- When you book: bookings are handled by our booking provider, Hospitable, and payments are processed by Stripe. They collect your name, contact details, guest count and payment information. We see your reservation details; we never see or store your full card number.
- Automatically, when you visit: like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site (pages viewed, device type, approximate location, how you arrived, and which buttons you click, such as “Check dates” or “Text us”). Google Analytics uses cookies to do this.
How we use it
- To answer your questions, send quotes and confirm and manage your stay.
- To send the Playbook and occasional emails about Color House, if you signed up. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand what’s working on the site and improve it.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who else handles it
We use a few trusted services to run the site and our bookings, and they process information on our behalf:
- Hospitable (reservations and guest messaging)
- Stripe (payment processing)
- MailerLite (email list)
- WPForms on our website host, Hostinger (quote and contact forms)
- Google Analytics (site statistics)
- YouTube (the embedded video tour; YouTube may set cookies if you play it)
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the property, our guests or ourselves.
Cookies and your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). The site still works without them.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and booking records as long as we need them to host your stay and for our tax and accounting records. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time, and you can ask us to delete your information (we’ll keep only what the law requires us to keep).
Your requests
To see, correct or delete the information we have about you, email host@colorhousevacations.com and we’ll respond within 30 days.
Children
This site isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. Reservations must be made by an adult.
Changes
If we update this policy, we’ll change the date at the top of this page.
